BANG-USA is looking for fashion designers, models, and photographers to participate in the Fringe Festival Fashion Show: The Atomic Catwalk! The show will take place on Friday September 4, from 6PM-9PM, between 2nd and 3rd Streets in Old City, Philadelphia.

T-shirts and buttons have long been used by activists to express political statements. However, with changing times, more effective measures must be taken. "The Atomic Catwalk" is an outreach event designed to inform Philadelphia about nuclear weapons issues, and effective actions steps that can be taken toward disarmament. We are looking for participants to design fun and creative pieces and/or to model them live on the streets that First Friday.

Design sessions and activism briefings will take place at the BANG-USA headquarters in Center City, on August 20 and 27th from 6PM-8PM.

***Free to enter! BANG-USA will provide clothing that can be refashioned, courtesy of Philadelphia AIDs Thrift. We invite all participants to share any crafts and design supplies.
